In our handicraft department, we have incense factory, tailoring service and noodle factory. The primary motive behind this handicraft is to train traditional skills to our young monks who are not successful in their studies and give them the opportunity to help themselves and also service others. It also helps the poor people of our settlement by not only employing them but also teaching them traditional skills that has innate value to service others.
Our incense factory manufacture wide range of incenses, our tailoring service makes objects relating to religious services and also sews the monks’ robe. Our noodle factory makes various kinds of noodles and hereby also teaching how to make them. The profits from these endeavors are put into service for the upliftment of monks’ education and health.
